How to Apply
Writers at all stages working in English are welcome to apply. Our collective experience tells us that a mix of neophytes and more seasoned writers can be invigorating, supportive, and inspiring for everyone involved. We would like to know a bit about you. There are two ways you can apply. On the form below, please choose the option that suits you best. NOTE: If you want to, you can do both, but we require just one!
APPLICATION DEADLINE: February 15
(Rolling admissions on early applications; late applications considered as space allows.)
OPTION 1
Write a paragraph or two about yourself. Where do you live? What makes you want to write? What is your experience as a writer? What do you hope to gain by participating in the Neraki workshop? If you know that you are interested in working in a particular genre (poetry, fiction, memoir, narrative nonfiction, or playwriting), let us know that too. (It’s OK to remain open.) Please also inform us of any special needs you might have.
OPTION 2
Request a Zoom call with one of our teacher-mentors so we can get to know you and hear about why you are interested in participating in the Neraki workshop and what you hope to gain by participating in it. For this option, please let us know where you live (so we can coordinate time zones), and someone will be in touch by email to arrange the call with you.
